How to Increase YouTube Revenue

The time and effort you dedicate to managing and keeping up with your YouTube channel can be extensive, so trying to get some money back is worth the effort, especially if your channel is a large part of your business. YouTube lets you enable ads on eligible videos so you can benefit from ad revenue, but in order to receive more money, you first need to get more hits on your videos.
Enable Multiple Ads

YouTube has two different types of ads available for videos, banner ads that play at the bottom of the video and full-screen ads that play before the video starts. Go through your videos and enable ads on all videos that are eligible  be sure to read YouTube’s terms before attempting to enable them. The banner ads make a little less revenue, but they are also less annoying. Some viewers may not want to sit through an ad playing before your video.
Add Keywords

Keywords are what help people find your videos, and the more viewers you receive, the more revenue you can make. Go to your Video Manager and click “Edit” under each video. In the keywords section, add any relevant keywords, separated by a comma. You can use words or phrases here. If you’re stuck, try starting an Internet search for topics related to your videos’ subjects and see what the auto-fill comes up with. This can help you see what phrases people are searching for, and you can use this to choose the best tags.
Upload Regularly

To gain subscribers and viewers if people see that your channel is active. Many viewers will see no reason to subscribe to a dead channel, so make sure you upload regularly. You don’t need to upload frequently or set a specific channel, just enough to show potential subscribers that they will continue to receive updates from you.
